Recommended Dining
Kelowna is known for its wining and dining, which means there are countless places to have a meal. Of all the restaurants nearby, here are some culinary experiences we won’t soon forget.

Raudz
Renowned Chef Rod Butters does food right. Focusing on independent growers and locally sourced ingredients, Raudz is known for its high quality beef. They even make their own gin, so don’t miss a visit to the bar.

Bohemian Cafe
This eclectic eating experience is a family-run café that serves favourites like eggs benedict, BLTs, and feel-good breakfast platters. Ingredients are locally sourced—come taste the Okanagan for yourself!

Zabb Thai Restaurant
Zabb was voted the best Thai restaurant in Kelowna—it’s hard to argue with that, especially when you dive into their small but flavourful menu. Try chicken satay, tom yum soup, or their drunken chicken noodles.

Creekside Pub
This family-friendly pub has been open for half a century, with a few name changes along the way. With a reputation of being home to the “original wings in Kelowna” (they humbly cede that some also say the best), you don’t need a better reason to visit.
Wineries
Okanagan wineries continue to build their reputation as some of the best vineyards in the world. Once you’ve grabbed a glass, we won’t need to tell you why—these wines speak for themselves. Here are some of our favourite local wineries.

Summerhill
This intriguing winery uses organically and biodynamically grown grapes to make their wines. Wines are finished in their pyramid-shaped cellar which was built to be aligned with the stars. Try their pinot gris or reserve syrah.

Quails’s Gate
Family-operated since 1956, Quail’s Gate was there when BC wines were first being bottled. Their Old Vines restaurant is top 100 in Canada, making this a haven for wine and food tasting—try their “black out blind” wine tasting.

Mission Hill
Mission Hill wants you to slow down—they invite all guests to walk the grounds, tour the cellars, and experience a change in the pace of life. It’s not hard to do with a glass of their Bordeaux-style Oculus in hand.

Cedar Creek
Home to stunning panoramic lake views, this vineyard was one of the first eight in BC, twice being recognized as Canada’s winery of the year. Their wines are as rich in flavor as the estate is rich in history, and their wine and food tasting is not to be missed.

Sandhill
With their single vineyard philosophy, Sandhill believes in great wine. They’re also home to fun events such as happy hours, live music, and yoga & wine sessions—it still counts as exercise!

50th Parallel Estate Winery
With an on-site seasonal restaurant, a wedding and event space and unique, award-winning wines, no trip to the Okanagan is complete without a visit to 50th Parallel Estate Winery.
Beach Info
Playa Del Sol Resort is just steps away from Lake Okanagan and a short walk to world-class beaches. Here are two of our favourite spots to enjoy the sun and sand.

Rotary Beach
Just across the street from us, Rotary Beach has a bit of everything. With designated swimming areas, change rooms, a playground, picnic areas and on-site rentals, there’s something for everyone!

Gyro Beach
Possibly the best beach in Kelowna, this gorgeous park has swimming, a playground, and sand volleyball courts. The best part is, Gyro Beach is only a few blocks north of Playa del Sol Resort. There are plenty of beach rentals available, including paddle boarding, kayaking, water trikes, or even volleyballs. You can access all of these right on the beach through Okanagan Beach Rentals.

Bear Creek Provincial Park
Looking to get out of town for the day? Look no further than Bear Creek Provincial Park. With over 400 meters of sandy beach, you’re sure to find somewhere to dig your toes in the sand. Or pull on your trail boots and check out the 5 kilometers of hiking trails. Beach rentals through Okanagan Beach Rentals are also available here.
